I am a graduate from Actualize Coding Bootcamp

I was looking for a new career, I felt that I had maxed out my growth in my last field. That is when it happened, I had always been interested in the how of computers and websites so I downloaded the Code Academy app, and I fell in love with coding. I wanted to do more in the coding space and that's when I found Actualize and enrolled and over 12 weeks I had built my foundation with frameworks like Ruby on Rails and Vue.js since I graduated I have been building upon that foundation and continuing to learn the finer points of coding.

Things That Make Me Happy.

I love to spend time with my wife and my family. I truly believe that I married my best friend. We both love to watch movies and just hang out with each other even if it's just a night of us sitting in and reading.

I am an avid reader of both novels and comics. My favorite author is Stephen King and I am currently working on reading through all of his novels in chronological order. As well as a ton of other authors like Jim Butcher, John Grisham, and Sarah Lyons Fleming.

Horror movies and music are also in my upper echelon of hobbies and things I deeply enjoy. Along with Star Wars and all things Batman.

On Saturday you can always find me rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes, Sunday I will always be rooting for my Dallas Cowboys. I try to catch as many Detriot Red Wings and Cincinnati Reds games that I can.

Some Shots of My Life.

My Wife Jennifer and I.

We went to school together and reconnected after we graduated and we have been together ever since. We were married in 2008 and it has been hands down the best decision I have ever made.

My Time At Kroger.

AKroger was very good to me in the 15 total years that I worked for them and I spent most of my tenure there working on one of these two machines. I changed batteries in forklifts and pallet jacks and it really taught me teamwork and the value of hard work as well. It was a great job that prepared me to follow this dream of learning software development.

My Family.

I honestly don't think that a person could ask for a better family/support system. Everyone in my family has helped me through this career change and through the every big step in my life. I appreciate them more than they know and I am glad to have them in my life..

Thanks For Taking The Time To Learn A Little More About Me.
